NEC Selects Kagoor Networks for Global Session Border Control Reseller Agreement
Companies Provide One-Stop, Integrated Solution To VoIP Border Issues
Santa Clara, CA – March 29, 2004 – Kagoor Networks, a leader in Session Border Control solutions, announced today that it has signed a global Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement with NEC Corporation (NEC), a market leader in converged communications systems. NEC selected Kagoor based upon thorough testing of VoiceFlow's carrier grade functionality, its comprehensive product portfolio and its optimized 3-Way Architecture. The two companies are already working together on several large service provider deployments.
NEC, one of the world's leading providers of Internet, broadband network and business solutions, adds Kagoor's VoiceFlow series of session border control products to its already robust VoIP portfolio. Together, Kagoor and NEC offer carriers and service providers a one-stop, integrated solution to their IP telephony border issues.
"NEC is delighted to add Kagoor's VoiceFlow series to our VoIP product portfolio," said Norinao Hizen, Assistant General Manager, Integration Services Division, Broadband Operations Unit of NEC. "The addition of Kagoor's session border control products significantly strengthens our ability to provide carriers and service providers with an end-to-end VoIP solution."
By selecting Kagoor, NEC can deliver carriers and service providers the most extensive range of session border control choices in designing and implementing VoIP networks. The VoiceFlow series is a scalable and comprehensive family of Session Border Control solutions, including high capacity, fault tolerant carrier grade (VF-3000), VoIP service provider or carrier edge (VF-1000) and CPE (VF-200). VoiceFlow is the only solution to deliver the 5 essential VoIP applications: Network-hosted NAT traversal and VPN aggregation, network protection, carrier peering and enterprise border control.
"NEC significantly enhances our market presence and provides us with a great channel to the worldwide carrier and service provider community," said Opher Kahane, CEO and Co-founder of Kagoor Networks. "We look forward to working together to accelerate the delivery of VoIP for NEC's customers."
