Overview

The Juniper Networks circuit to packet products provide the advanced technology and features required to reliably transport circuit-based applications across a new generation of IP networks. These products deliver field-proven flexibility, performance and reliability for circuit applications.

Software-selectable interfaces include T1, E1, EIA-530, RS-232, V.35 and 4WTO. In addition to the standard Non-Return to Zero (NRZ) data encoding, interfaces can be configured with Conditioned Diphase and Isochronous encoding.

The CTP-Series can be managed through the menu-driven command-line interface or the CTPView Management System with its easy-to-use Web-based graphical user interface. Detailed performance reports, including network jitter, delay and dropped packets, provide real-time and historic network performance data.

Product Features
CTP1002 Juniper Network's CTP1002 circuit over IP platform includes support for two ports of circuit traffic in a 1ru rack-mountable chassis.
CTP1004 Juniper Networks CTP1004 circuit over IP platform includes support for four ports of circuit traffic in a 1ru rack-mountable chassis.
CTP1012 Juniper Networks CTP1012 circuit over IP platform builds on the capabilities of the CTP1004 by tripling the port density. The CTP1012 is an ideal solution for larger sites and hub locations.
CTP2008 Juniper Networks CTP2008 circuit over IP platform is a 1RU rack-mountable chassis that can be configured with 8 ports. The interface modules are the same across the CTP 2000 series.
CTP2024 Juniper Networks CTP2024 circuit over IP platform is a 2ru rack mountable chassis that can be configured with 8 to 24 ports. The interface modules are the same across the CTP 2000 series. The chassis includes the option for redundant power.
CTP2056 Juniper Networks CTP2056 circuit over IP platform is a 4ru rack mountable chassis that can be configured with 8 to 56 ports. The interface modules are the same across the CTP 2000 series. The chassis includes the option for redundant power.
CTPView Juniper Networks CTPView Network Management Server provides network operators with the tools necessary to monitor network availability, report on IP networks performance and provision circuits through a graphical user interface.

CTPView

Juniper Network's CTPView is a Web-based server used to manage the CTP-series of products. The CTPView may be used in addition to the CTP's integral command-line interface, which is available via a local terminal or remotely via SSH. The CTPView enables fast provisioning of circuits by providing a graphic user interface showing both the current circuit configuration and the configuration options. Real-time and historic reports are offered that detail circuit and IP network performance including dropped packets, IP packet delay variance (jitter), network delay and system jitter buffers.

The CTPView network monitoring feature provides a real-time graphic display of CTP reachability and circuit status. CTP systems can be logically grouped, creating a high-level view of larger networks with alarms percolating up through the group to the current display.
